People often ask us "how did you come up with your farm name?"

Back when Brian was farming solo, he came up with the name, and it represents an outlook on life:

we believe anything is possible here at our farm!

Relentless optimism in the face of adversity is a good personality trait if you want to get into farming.

And basically we would like to turn the current agriculture system on it's head...back to a hyper-local model focused on healthy soil and providing healthy food to our local community.

Some might say that will happen "when pigs fly"...

...and to those people we say: "this is WHERE pigs fly," because we live out our values every day.

We are always willing to try new things and find creative solutions.

Creative problem-solving is an essential skill for all farmers...every day brings a new challenge: with limited time and a low budget!

Plus, our name is fun and different.... like us!

So, there you have it...the story behind our name!
